Job summary

Dollar General Corporation in Missouri seeks an Inventory Analyst to assist the DC Manager in maintaining inventory accuracy. You will coordinate staff and processes, analyze data, and publish reports on inventory performance across the distribution center.

The role requires strong analytical and mathematical skills, proficiency with Excel and warehouse systems, and familiarity with relevant regulations. Works onsite in a fast-paced DC environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in an automated distribution center is preferred.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems is preferred.
  • Strong communication, analytical and math skills.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, DEA and FDA regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate staff, processes to support DC inventory accuracy.
  • Analyze data and publish reports on inventory.
  • Track performance by area and identify root causes.
  • Implement changes to the inventory program.
  • Coordinate cycle counting and financial cut-offs.
  • Maintain system data integrity.
  • Ensure date-sensitive items are checked and stock is accurate.
  • Set up or adjust SKU in strategic locations.
  • Ensure cycle counts are scheduled and completed accurately.
  • Research variances between perpetual inventory and general ledger.
  • Monitor product profiling for distribution efficiency.
