Job summary

Electrolux Group in Springfield, TN is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor to lead a team responsible for accurate, timely inventory management across the plant. You will drive continuous improvement and partner across Operations, Production, and Finance to optimize material flow and reporting.

The role requires 3+ years in inventory control or related fields, with leadership experience and strong Excel/Power BI skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of inventory control, manufacturing, or warehouse operations experience.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience with coaching and developing teams.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and data analysis tools, JD Edwards (JDE) experience preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookup) and working knowledge of Power BI.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Inventory Control team, promoting accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish and enforce inventory control policies, standard work, and governance for compliance and excellence.
  • Ensure accuracy of inventory transactions, reporting, and data in JDE and other systems.
  • Investigate discrepancies using root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Production, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, and Warehouse teams to improve accuracy and performance.
  • Manage scrap processing, audits, cycle counts, and physical inventory activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for material flow, labor efficiency, waste reduction, and cost savings.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report KPI performance related to inventory and operations.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, SOPs, and training materials to improve visibility and consistency.
  • Support audits and provide data-driven recommendations to strengthen inventory management.

All about the role

The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for developing and sustaining best practices that ensure accurate, timely, and controlled management of inventory across the plant. This role leads a team focused on inventory accuracy, discrepancy resolution, and cross-functional collaboration, while driving continuous improvement in processes, reporting, and scrap handling.

Where you’ll be

This position will be based in Springfield, TN.

What you’ll do
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Inventory Control team, including Inventory Liaisons and Investigators, while fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish, maintain, and enforce inventory control policies, procedures, standard work, and governance processes to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory transactions, reporting, and system data within JDE and other inventory management systems.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies, variances, and transactional issues using root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Production, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, and Warehouse teams to improve inventory accuracy and operational performance.
  • Manage scrap processing, inventory audits, cycle counts, and physical inventory activities to ensure timely execution and accurate reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy, material flow optimization, labor efficiency, waste reduction, and cost savings.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report KPI performance, including inventory accuracy, adjustments, scrap, transaction compliance, and operational efficiency metrics.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, training materials, SOPs, and escalation processes using tools such as Excel and Power BI to improve visibility and process consistency.
  • Support internal and external audits, lead structured problem-solving efforts, and provide data-driven recommendations to strengthen inventory management and business performance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in inventory control, manufacturing, warehouse operations, or supply chain environments.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience with a proven ability to coach, develop, and lead high-performing teams.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and data analysis tools, with JD Edwards (JDE) experience preferred.
  • Strong technical skills in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and lookup functions) and working knowledge of Power BI and reporting tools.
  • Demonstrated strengths in data-driven decision making, problem solving, collaboration, communication, and attention to detail in a fast-paced operational environment.
