Job summary

CUES Inc. is a leading developer of water, wastewater, and storm water inspection equipment. We are seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor to oversee inventory, receiving, storage and delivery across our warehouse network, ensuring accuracy and timely parts distribution.

You will lead warehouse teams, drive cycle counts and Kaizen improvements, enforce 5S, and align operations with KPI targets, while coordinating across multiple locations to support production and service needs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of MRP systems, production control and inventory control.
• 3 years previous supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Administrative Duties and creating work procedures.
• Manage and oversee inventory by receiving, storing, and delivering items across locations.
• Coordinate parts runs between Rio Vista and Mercy locations and distribute to satellite locations.
• Set performance goals and deadlines aligned with KPI targets.
• Supervise warehouse, shipping, receiving and logistics staff; monitor productivity and quality.
• Support daily cycle counting and audit stock status; ensure compliance with regulations.
• Maintain 5S compliance and promote a safe work environment through training.
• Lead Kaizen events and drive continuous inventory process improvements.

SPX is a diverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact. As an Inventory Control Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining and overseeing inventory and supplies by receiving, storing, and delivering items. Responsible for securing warehouse and supervising warehouse, shipping, receiving and logistics employees at the Rio Vista location, including coordination of parts runs between the Rio and Mercy locations and parts distribution to all other satellite locations.

What you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities)

• Administrative Duties
• Create and maintain work procedures; prepare work schedules and expedite workflow and materials between locations.
• Ensure all shipments comply with local, state and federal regulations as outlined by the shipping coordinator.
• Setting goals for performance and deadlines to align with the company’s KPI’s.
• Supervisor all warehouse, shipping, receiving and logistics employees managing productivity and quality of work.
• Support daily cycle counting requirement.
• Warehouse Operations and Management:
• Ensure best shipping practices and standard procedures are being followed.
• Work closely with Production Control daily to ensure production schedule requirement are being met / supported.
• Audit / track daily status of all kit pulls, distribution orders, validated orders not shipped and inbound receiving exceptions.
• Enforce and promote a safe work environment through monthly trainings, inspections and mentoring of employees.
• Maintain 5S compliance throughout warehouse.
• Lead and participate in Kaizen events
• Identify opportunities to improve inventory process flow
• Drive 5S culture throughout warehouse

Required Experience

• Knowledge of MRP systems, production control and inventory control
• 3 years previous supervisory experience
