Job summary

GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY in La Vergne, TN is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor to direct daily activities of the inventory control team across multiple buildings. You will oversee cycle counts, investigations of discrepancies, and root-cause analysis while driving process improvements and accurate PI planning.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of supervisor experience in a warehouse, 1–2 years inventory exposure, and strong Excel along with SAP/WMS proficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years warehouse inventory-related experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the inventory control team across multiple buildings and ensure cycle counts follow work instructions.
• Investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and recommend process improvements.
• Plan and execute physical inventories to achieve accurate results.
• Maintain cycle count schedule and ensure timely reporting.
• Lead the team in resolving inventory discrepancies and provide timely departmental reports.
• Write procedures and maintain necessary documentation.
• Collaborate with SAP and WMS processes and ensure data integrity.

Description

Position Summary

Responsible for providing daily directions to inventory control team across multiple buildings. Ensures the inventory control team cycle-counts parts based on the work instructions and customer requirements. Ensures that the team researches discrepancies with a focus on timeliness, capturing root causes, and recommending process improvement when required. Help plan and execute physical inventories to the most accurate result.

Essential Functions

• Ensure cycle count team is trained on proper cycle count and bin audit processes.
• Ensure the cycle count schedule is maintained and followed.
• Assist with integration of drone data into overall cycle count process.
• Support program managers and warehouse team with inventory status as needed.
• Understand and execute inventory-related SAP and WMS transactions.
• Lead inventory control team in resolving inventory discrepancies.
• Assist with planning and execution of bi-annual Physical Inventory (PI).
• Provide accurate and timely departmental reports.
• Ability to write procedures
• Maintain necessary documentation
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3-5 years Supervisor experience or combination of Lead/Supervisor experience in a warehouse setting.
• Minimum 1-2 years warehouse inventory-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred .

• This is a FULLY ONSITE position; mut be able to report onsite daily.
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment with multiple languages spoken.
• Ability to lead, guide, and direct a team.
• Computer literate in a Windows environment with advanced Excel skills.
• Working knowledge and experience with SAP and WMS systems.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English; bilingual in Spanish preferred
• Knowledge of computer parts is preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally.
