Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator to support warehouse operations and maintain accurate inventories. You will monitor stock levels and ensure efficient flow through our distribution process.

The role requires counting, reporting, and reconciling inventory, with a focus on accuracy and shrink control. You must be able to work in multi-temperature environments and handle physical tasks during shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required.
• 1+ year inventory experience in a warehouse.
• Ability to communicate information accurately and apply strong math skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and intermediate computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Counts material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts inventory records.
• Compares inventories to office records or figures from records.
• Verifies computations against physical stock and adjusts errors.
• Compiles receipts or disbursements of materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies.
• Monitors inventory rotations and makes recommendations as needed.
• Prepares inventory balances, weekly cycle counts, and production breakdowns.
• Reviews and investigates daily reports.
• Maintains shrink at or below company standard.
• Prepares list of depleted items and surveys defective/unusable items.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
