Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Huntsville, AL is seeking an Inventory Management Support (Material Handler) to join the AMF team. You will handle receiving, movement, storage, packaging, and shipping of sensitive materials, reporting to the AMF Logistics Manager.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent with relevant material handler experience and a valid driver's license. The position follows a 4/10 schedule; security clearance may be required for access to classified information.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 years of material handler experience, or 2 years post-secondary/associates with 2+ years experience.
• A valid Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities

• Records information regarding materials received and shipped in the department computer system.
• Packaging and handling materials within company guidelines.
• Cycle counting activities – performing counts/recounts, researching lost items, completing cycle count records.
• Counting and/or weighing incoming parts to verify receipt.
• Ensuring that all materials requiring inspection are moved to the proper locations.
• Separating and moving materials, equipment and supplies to and from stores, warehouses, Operations, and Test areas.
• Unloading trucks ensuring that all material and receiving paperwork is complete accurate and accounted for.
• After inspection is completed, verifying that inspection stamps, signatures, quantities and acceptance tags or labels are accounted for.
