Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is hiring an Inventory Control Analyst for our Temporary Structures division in Memphis. This on-site role focuses on managing bulk inventory, cycle counts, and data-driven replenishment planning within a dynamic yard and warehouse environment.

You will coordinate with field operations, Fleet, manufacturers, and suppliers, using SQL Server, Excel, and related tools to maintain accurate inventory, pricing, and GL categorization, while driving cost-saving initiatives and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of inventory management experience, with specific experience managing bulk inventory required.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong reporting capabilities.
• Ability to design and maintain reports using relational database applications (e.g., SQL Server, Microsoft Query, Excel).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills to work effectively with warehouse associates and management.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a huge plus.

Responsibilities

• Contract & Reservation Accuracy: Routinely check in and check out rental contracts, verifying the total accuracy of all upcoming rental reservations.
• Inventory Control & Cycle Counting: Lead regular cycle counts and maintain precise supplier inventory controls, catalog pricing, and GL categorization.
• Bulk Inventory Coordination: Oversee the total lifecycle of bulk assets, staging custom packages for installation crews and maintaining an organized yard.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Interact with warehouse staff to ensure seamless day-to-day operations and yard accuracy.
• Data & Demand Analysis: Use reporting metrics to analyze equipment consumption, sales, and vendor performance for replenishment planning.
• Procurement Platform Management: Administer the SmartEquip platform to ensure high availability of parts and MRO items.
• Strategic Sourcing: Partner with sourcing to drive vendor consolidation and cost-saving initiatives.
