Job Description
Overview of the Position:
The primary function of this position is to ensure the timely management of inventory, assist the Quality Control Group, and support Shipping and Receiving. Perform necessary inspection procedures to ensure parts meet all required specifications and standards. Prepare and close out parts for shipping by oiling, wrapping, and completing required paperwork.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Learn the ERP system (Quantum) for parts sorting and logging
- Receive incoming parts shipments
- Verify part numbers, quantities, and condition of received items
- Physically store stock items in the inventory room
- Reconcile discrepancies
- Fulfill work orders for kits and individual parts
- Kit parts and enter data into the ERP system
- Coordinate with Purchasing to resolve parts ordering and receiving issues
- Conduct inventory cycle counts
- Audit, verify, and correct inventory records
- Ensure proper storage, control, and preparation of parts for orders
- Maintain and properly use company equipment such as computers, scan guns, and scales
Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to read blueprints
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
- FAA Repairman certification if applicable
- Basic computer and keyboarding skills
- Intermediate math skills (decimals, percentages, fractions)
- Knowledge of AS9110 Quality Policy and Procedures is a plus
Requirements
Education / Experience: H.S. Diploma or GED required
