Job summary

Precision Castparts in Minerva, OH is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist for off-shift to maintain inventory and supplies while keeping accurate procurement records.

You will stock, order, and coordinate with Purchasing; perform cycle counts; support multiple facilities and work with delivery drivers.

Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to communicate effectively with plant colleagues.

Qualifications

• Problem solving and ability to coordination inventory control program.
• Demonstrated ability to work within plans set forth by Purchasing and Operations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations and priorities.
• Computer skills including spreadsheet and production planning and tracking applications.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain consistent stock of inventory, ordering new stock up to pre-authorized limits as inventory dwindles.
• Responsible for supplying all plant employees with the required supplies.
• Assess inventory reports and order patterns to identify items in need of automatic, recurring delivery.
• Will gather and build supply orders for other facilities.
• Responsible for cycle counts of supply store items in order to track inventory.
• Will maintain supply store inventory levels and replenish storage areas as needed.
• Coordinate with delivery drivers on incoming shipments.
• Work closely with Purchasing department to maintain proper supply levels and coordinate supplier lists.
• Other duties as assigned.
