Job summary

Thorlabs in Newton, NJ, is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to monitor and reconcile inventory and perform daily cycle counts. You will read production orders, interact with all levels, and support transfers and QC workflows across locations.

Minimum 2 years in manufacturing with inventory control, familiarity with D365 and RFSmart, and strong attention to detail. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience with inventory control focus.
• Familiarity with D365 (ERP) and RFSmart systems.

Responsibilities

• Investigates and corrects inventory issues.
• Executes transfers of product and physical movements.
• Create and process physical inventory counts and reconcile variances.
• Perform daily cycle counts per the inventory SOP.
• Monitor inventory requests via the Inventory Control Mailbox.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure inventory accuracy.
