Shamrock Foods Company is seeking a Warehouse Associate to compile and maintain inventories of materials, equipment, merchandise, and supplies. You will count stock, post totals, verify records, and prepare reports on inventory balance and shortages while ensuring safety protocols are followed.

The role offers a starting wage of $20 per hour as a full-time, day-shift position working Sunday through Wednesday (Thursday–Saturday off) from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with responsibilities across multiple

Qualifications

• GED or equivalent high school diploma.
• Fluent in English: speaking, reading, and writing.
• 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Willing to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to work in temperature-controlled environments (-5 F to ambient).
• Ability to observe surroundings, packages, and labels at various distances.

Responsabilités

• Compiling and maintaining records of quantity, type, and value of materials stocked.
• Reporting accidents, injuries, malfunctions, and safety issues to a supervisor.
• Counting stock and posting totals to inventory records.
• Comparing inventories to office records and computing figures from records.
• Verifying clerical computations against physical stock and adjusting discrepancies.
• Preparing inventory balance, price lists, and shortage reports.
• Preparing lists of depleted items and suggesting surveys of defective items.
• Performing other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

The starting wage for this position will be: $20/HR

Summary:

This position is responsible for compiling and maintaining records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies stocked in establishment.

• Reporting any accidents, injuries, malfunctions on equipment, and safety issues and/or unsafe practices immediately to a Supervisor.
• Counting material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts totals to inventory records.
• Comparing inventories to office records or computes figures from records such as sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices to obtain current inventory.
• Verifying clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation or count or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies.
• Compiling information on receipt or disbursement of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies, and computes inventory balance, price, and cost.
• Preparing reports such as inventory balance, price lists, and shortages.
• Preparing list of depleted items and recommends survey of defective or unusable items.
• Performing other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Fluency in English; speak, read, and write
• One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which are subject to overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to work in various temperature-controlled zones ranging from -5 F to ambient temperature
• Ability to observe surroundings, packages, and labels at both close and far distances
