Inventory Control Specialist I, Full-time, Third Shift

UC Health is hiring a full-time Inventory Control Specialist I for the UC Medical Center.

The Inventory Control Specialist I performs inventory functions, monitors assessment of movement, maintains related records, and prepares related documents.

Responsibilities
  • Performs inventory control functions, including PAR level management, contract compliance, ensuring reliability of procurement, timely distribution of supplies, and management of about-to-expire and expired products.
  • Knowledge and understanding of inventory control and ordering processes. Tracks inventory regularly, rotates products using FIFO, replenishes supplies, and communicates back orders or changes to the department manager and relevant personnel.
  • Prepares documents, maintains records, requisitions, and related reports for supplies. Creates and maintains related files.
  • Performs other inventory and miscellaneous duties as directed by the manager.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED (Minimum Required)
  • Three months of experience (Minimum Required)
  • Ability to perform basic math, read, and write common vocabulary; courses in inventory control or equivalent experience covering areas such as inventory management, forecasting, materials requirements planning, accounting systems, information systems, and data processing.
