Responsibilities

***BOX TRUCK DRIVING EXPERIENCE PREFERRED**

SUMMARY:

Monitor, supports, and report on verification, investigation, and reconciliation of Distribution Center transaction reports to ensure all shipping, receiving, adjustments, and other item transactions update the Warehouse Management System with the host ERP system. Provides internal, distribution center, and customer inventory-related support via phone, e-mail, or workgroup-type scenarios. Acts as a liaison between Operations and various internal groups on all inventory transaction functions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Subject matter expert for inventory control and front office functions within the Distribution Centers, ERP, and WMS
  • Develop, revise, and maintain Inventory Control work instructions. Communicates updates or changes to the DCs or applicable groups
  • Monitors daily transaction errors and provides root cause
  • Coordinates quarterly ERP/WMS sync and reconciliation efforts
  • Verify receiving transactions and exception reports while maintaining accurate records in an exceptions database
  • SME on DC-related CRM activities and communications
  • Communicates with suppliers to resolve material discrepancies and invoice disputes
  • Work daily exception reports in the system ERP updating transaction errors
  • Performs other duties as requested by the Operations Manager

Safety Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to, promote, and accept responsibility for compliance to Federal and Local Occupational Safety and Health Regulations, Industry Consensus Standards, and KGP Injury and Illness Prevention Program Manual.• Participate in job site safety/hazard analysis.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High School graduate or GED equivalent required
  • Requires demonstrated ability to learn and understand basic mathematical processes
  • Must have ability to learn to read and understand technical drawings, schematics, and documentation

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence; ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the Company.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

  • Ability to add and subtract 10-digit numbers, to multiply and divide with tens and hundreds; ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.

REASONING ABILITY:

  • No major critical thinking required. Work follows established job aids and business rules. Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form; ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
