Job summary

Better Being in Ogden, Utah is seeking an Inventory Support Clerk to plan and perform inventory control reporting, ensure accuracy, and assist with shipments. You will work with department staff to uphold controls, help audits, and manage assets in the storage warehouse while supporting safety policies and orderly operations.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in inventory control, familiarity with word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and the ability to read procedures and apply math concepts.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years related experience in inventory control and warehouse operations.
• Knowledge of computer software applications including word processing, spreadsheets and database software.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Good verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
• Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
• Ability to operate a forklift and/or order picker.

Responsibilities

• Plans and performs inventory control reporting and summarizing results.
• Works with appropriate department personnel to ensure controls and procedures are in place that promotes inventory accuracy.
• Assists with audits of critical accounting controls and procedures.
• Manage and control company assets in storage warehouse.
• Prepare shipments and assist shippers, in order to ensure on time shipment of orders.
• Other duties as assigned.
