Roskam Foods, a Grand Rapids-area contract manufacturer, seeks an Inventory Control professional to maintain records, count stock, and coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and production teams. You will track shipments, investigate shortages/overages, and support audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Role requires hands-on inventory oversight and collaboration across departments to keep production moving smoothly and safely.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory control or warehousing.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems.
• Attention to detail and ability to reconcile discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and production teams to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Track shipments and verify documentation.
• Investigate and resolve inventory-related issues, including stock shortages and overages.
• Generate inventory reports to support decision-making.
• Assist in developing and implementing inventory control procedures.
• Support audits and provide documentation as needed.
• Operate a mobile aerial work platform (manlift) as needed.
