Description

We are looking for a Material Stock Handler/inventory Control Specialist to join our team! you will help maintain the facility’s inventory, assisting with ordering and distribution/supplying necessary items throughout the facility. Maintains accurate records of all procurements and distributions.

Pay Range: $16.64-$21.22 per hour based on experience and qualifications. Full-time position

Full-time position to maintain the facility’s inventory, assisting with ordering and distribution/supplying necessary items throughout the facility. Maintains accurate records of all procurements and distributions. May supervise other supply staff members, as assigned.

• Provides support in control and management of inventory, ordering new stock up to pre-authorized limits as usage requires replenishment.

• Within established protocols, maintains back-up inventory source for high-demand items.

• Receives goods and ensures order is accurate, without damage and complete. Processes items for shipment as designated.

• Assesses inventory reports and order patterns to identify items in need of automatic, recurring delivery. Develop ordering and delivery schedule for consistent supply management. Verifies inventory records and corrects discrepancies within prescribed supply protocols.

• Provides inventory reports to the Purchasing/Supply Manager to ensure proper ordering and supply demands are met.

• Conducts physical inventories on a routine basis ensuring accuracy, outdated item clearance and overflow processes.

• Assists with periodic (annual, etc.) physical inventory audits.

• Maintains inventory database, updating records consistently to record supplies and materials received and distributed.

• Distributes storeroom materials in accordance with requisition forms.

• Ensures supply storeroom is maintained in a neat, clean and orderly manner. Conducts shelf rotation, processes charge labels and bundles supplies, as necessary.

• Completes incoming/outgoing mail and shipping processes for the facility.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED is required. A minimum of six months previous work experience in a service/supply work setting. Experience working with computerized inventory systems is high desired. Previous work experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
