Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC is seeking an Inventory Clerk for the Obetz, OH location. The role involves ensuring inventory accuracy, updating the WMS, and resolving discrepancies to keep physical and system counts aligned.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Compensation starts at $21.50 per hour with a $1.00 shift differential, totaling $22.50 per hour. Candidates must meet safety standards and pass background/drug screening.

Qualifications

• Follow work procedures and safety rules.
• Read, write, understand and speak English.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks independently with precise detail and follow-up reporting.
• Must be able to learn WMS and internal applications.
• Must use handheld computers / scanners.
• Regular, predictable attendance is essential.
• Willingness to travel and pass background and drug screening are required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure system counts match physical inventory.
• Resolve discrepancies at location and pallet level.
• Look for missing product in storage locations.
• Update WMS to match physical inventory.
• Research and document root cause.
• Ensure proper rotation of product.
• Analyze reports to identify rotation issues.
• Audit inbound receipts and documentations.
• Accurately input data into WMS and other applications.
• Assist with daily and weekly reports.
• Support development of special projects and tasks.
