Job summary

Economy Cash & Carry Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to support accuracy and integrity of inventory across multiple warehouses in El Paso, TX. The role handles cycle counts, audits, and item master maintenance to ensure reliable inventory records.

Responsibilities include researching discrepancies, processing corrections, and collaborating with Receiving, Warehouse, Purchasing, Sales, and Operations. Prior experience with ERP systems is preferred, and forklift ability is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; at least one year of warehouse, inventory control, receiving, or related experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP, warehouse management, or inventory systems preferred; NetSuite and RF-SMART experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with good mathematical, organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily cycle counts and verifies physical inventory against system quantities, UOMs, and inventory locations.
• Researches variances by reviewing transactions such as receiving, transfers, sales, fulfillments, and adjustments; recounts when necessary.
• Processes or submits inventory corrections and adjustments according to procedures and approvals.
• Audits incoming, outgoing, or transferred inventory to confirm item, quantity, UOM, and location.
• Maintains item master data and supports documentation for counts, adjustments, damages, expirations, and transfers.
