Job summary

RJ Schinner Co., Inc. is seeking a Distribution Warehouse Inventory Specialist in Atlanta, GA, for full-time, daytime hours. You will manage inventory accuracy, coordinate with the warehouse manager on improvements, and implement SOP updates to optimize processes.

Responsibilities include verifying inbound shipments, cycle counts, replenishment, and maintaining records. Eligible candidates possess strong people skills and ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of inventory control and SKU management experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and RF / Android-based scanning devices.
• Strong people skills.
• Able to perform light to heavy physical tasks; able to lift 50 lbs. safely.
• Comfortable with environmental conditions (heat/cold; noise and dust).
• Comfortable with heights (20’-30’).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for accuracy of all in-bound shipments. Checks supplier’s counts and reports discrepancies to carrier and supervisor
• Maintains other shipping records such as returned merchandise, damage, discrepancies, etc.
• Verify inventory levels through daily system cycle counts against physical counts
• Replenish warehouse primary pick locations to capacity
• Condense product to maximize warehouse density and pick efficiency
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of warehouse
• Manage and maintain backorder reports
• Process damages
• Responsible for ensuring accurate receipt/shipment and appropriate handling of merchandise
• Other duties as assigned by management
