Job summary

Verst Logistics Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist in Hebron Estates, Kentucky. The shift runs Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:30pm with occasional overtime, and pays $19/hr.

You will create and maintain accurate inventory records, including the label room, and verify shipments and receipts. Responsibilities include daily counts, inventory reconciliation reporting, reviewing kits, updating production material worksheets, and processing cycle-count paperwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer 1–3 years prior experience operating a forklift in a high-volume environment.
• Able to follow specific instructions thoroughly and accurately, and provide instructions to other associates as needed.
• Ability to understand, follow and enforce company policies and procedures.
• Must be able to operate a cherry picker.

Responsibilities

• Completes daily physical count of materials in facility including raw materials, finished goods, and label room to ensure accurate record keeping and availability of product.
• Maintains records and develops reports for the reconciliation of supplies inventories.
• Reviews productions kits to ensure that inventory is on hand.
• Updates and maintains worksheet of materials scheduled to be produced.
• Completes required paperwork on cycle counts and inventory levels as needed for review by production managers.
• Assists in the organization of warehouse and improvement of inventory control operations.
• Accounts for all defective or damaged product and follows appropriate corrective actions.
• Assists in developing daily production scheduling based on inventory counts and needs.
