Job summary

McWane Ductile is seeking an Inventory Specialist to maintain item integrity, locations, and stock levels for ductile iron pipe. You will perform cycle counts, analyze discrepancies, and collaborate with multiple departments to ensure accurate postings and inventories.

Responsibilities include overseeing pipe and accessory inventory, organizing yard/warehouse, and monthly inventories, with a focus on accuracy and continual process improvements. Weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in inventory management or 3–5 years of related experience.
• Strong math, problem solving and data accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills; multitasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pipe & accessory inventory.
• Lead weekly inventory meetings.
• Manage inventory transactions with Microsoft Dynamics D365.
• Organize pipe yard & accessory warehouse with shipping.
• Conduct monthly inventories of pipe & accessories.
• Maintain monthly inventory accuracy and drive improvements.
• Review history of item usage to set mins/max levels.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory.
