Job summary

Halperns Steak & Seafood is hiring an Inventory Control Clerk in Walton, KY. The role focuses on maintaining inventory integrity through daily cycle counts, investigating variances, and ensuring accurate item placement and labeling across the warehouse.

Responsibilities include receiving and stocking UPS shipments, operating a forklift, and providing backup support for the day shift. Candidates should read, write, and communicate in English and work well independently or in teams.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate a forklift.
• RF scanner experience required.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Ability to work independently or within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct cycle counts daily and investigates discrepancies with inventory.
• Checks and verifies daily rotation of specified items.
• Monitors movements of items for proper aisle placement and velocity zones.
• Ensures all product slots are clearly and accurately marked.
• Receives, stocks and handles UPS shipments, occasionally using a forklift.
• Provides back-up support for warehouse day shift as needed.
• Adheres to company mission, values and policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
