Alfa Laval Mid Europe GmbH in Houston is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to ensure inventory accuracy, traceability and efficient warehouse operations that support manufacturing and customer delivery commitments.

You will perform cycle counts, inventory audits, discrepancy investigations, and material verification activities while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Formación

• 2+ years of experience in inventory control, warehousing, manufacturing, or a related operational environment.
• Experience performing cycle counts, inventory transactions, inventory auditing, and material handling activities.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, handheld scanners, and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsabilidades

• Perform cycle counts, recounts, physical inventory verifications, and location audits with high accuracy.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and support corrective actions through system reviews and material tracking.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through inventory transactions, adjustments, transfers, and status updates.
• Safely operate forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and overhead cranes to support inventory control.
• Identify and segregate damaged, nonconforming, or questionable materials per procedures.
• Participate in daily status meetings and communicate inventory, quality, safety, and operational concerns.
• Support 5S and inventory process improvements and ensure compliance with safety policies.
