Job summary

Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health is seeking a Storeroom and Inventory Coordinator for the Invasive Cardiology Lab or Interventional Radiology supply chain. You will oversee inventory, coordinate product trials, and collaborate with physicians, purchasing, and vendors to ensure timely delivery and accurate records.

The role emphasizes cost analyses, budget oversight, and process improvements, requiring strong communication, independent work, and proficiency with MS Office and an MRP system.

Qualifications

• High school graduate with 5+ years of inventory management experience.
• AS degree preferred.
• Clinical or supply chain experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal/written communication and organizational skills.
• MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with an MRP system (PeopleSoft preferred).
• Must be able to work independently and be a self-starter.
• Prior clinical work experience in a surgical setting and process improvement experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees coordination of all storeroom inventory and distribution in Invasive Cardiology Lab or Interventional Radiology.
• Liaise on product/service contracts with vendors, supply chain, and legal.
• Collaborate with physicians and leadership to prioritize value analysis initiatives.
• Coordinate product trials including cost reduction reviews and data collection.
• Assist in development and monitoring of annual operating budget.
• Work with leadership on cost-benefit and cost-efficiency analyses.
• Maintain electronic inventory systems and perform cycle counts.
• Manage flow of materials entering/leaving storeroom; troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with Purchasing to expedite stock deliveries.
• Serve as resource on storeroom inventory; address questions.
• Adjust order points and quantities based on usage.
• Notify departments on new products and obsolescence.
• Transition slow-moving items out of inventory.
• Maintain correct labeling, product numbers, locations.
• Alert departments to cost-saving opportunities.
• Negotiate with manufacturers on removing or trading obsolete items.
• Performs other duties as required.
