Job summary

Task Force Tips LLC in Valparaiso, IN is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to maintain accurate inventory, process incoming shipments, and manage packing materials and literature. The role requires attention to detail, safe equipment operation, and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a dynamic warehouse environment.

You will handle physical counts, data entry, and parts pulling for assembly while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must follow OSHA safety precautions and procedures.
• Ability to count and perform basic arithmetic.
• Operate computer and software with accuracy to maintain inventory data.
• Safe operation of warehouse equipment including forklift and pallet jack.
• 6 months to 2 years in similar inventory roles is preferred.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and handle multiple tasks under time pressure.
• Good communication and teamwork with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Receives and processes parts from production and vendors, verifies quantities, and stores items correctly.
• Enters inventory data into the computer system and ensures accuracy.
• Pulls parts for assembly and literature for mailing and trade shows.
• Processes incoming shipments and freight, documenting transactions.
• Assembles repair kits for shipment.
• Conducts annual physical inventory and reconciliations.
• Offers suggestions for process improvements and performs related duties.
