Job summary

SpaceX is hiring an Inventory Specialist to manage offload, staging, receipt, storage, picking and packing for development projects and production lines. The role covers cycle counts, kit assembly and strict adherence to procedures.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, 1+ year inventory control experience, and preferably 3+ years in a warehouse with ERP exposure (SAP/Oracle). Forklift experience is valued, with aerospace or related field familiarity a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year inventory control experience required.
• 3+ years inventory control in a warehouse preferred.
• ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
• Proficient Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with inventory and kitting processes.
• Forklift and related inventory equipment experience.
• Experience in aerospace/automotive/semiconductor/electronic fields.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store and issue raw material and parts for shop ops.
• Store parts in bins and racks, identify stored location.
• Perform picking to assemble kits of parts and materials.
• Maintain strict material handling per procedures.
• Monitor shelf-life storage and rotate stock accordingly.
• Verify material against paperwork, check damage and part numbers.
• Issue material with required verification on serialized parts.
• Validate lot trace and perform cycle counts.
• Keep area tidy and support metric goals.
• Adhere to all SOPs and desk instructions.
