Job Summary

The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for ensuring that the inventory records in our system match the physical stock on shelves. This role involves identifying discrepancies, resolving issues, and maintaining accurate inventory data. The specialist collaborates with various teams to detect problems early, analyze trends, and implement effective solutions to enhance our service quality. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, enjoy problem-solving, and work well in team environments.

  • Generate reports to identify potential systematic issues with inventory, investigate, and resolve problems
  • Conduct scheduled weekly cycle counts to find inaccuracies such as misplaced stock
  • Adjust inventory records based on physical counts and research using the ERP system
  • Operate forklift equipment to replenish pick bins with overstocked items
  • Identify and process damaged inventory to maintain accurate stock levels
  • Ensure misplaced or incorrectly picked items are returned to the correct locations
  • Operate and maintain warehouse equipment safely to ensure a safe working environment
  • Prepare wrap/kit lists for repacking and transport completed products within the warehouse
  • Maintain performance standards for efficiency, accuracy, and quality
  • Keep the work environment clean, organized, and safe by following safety guidelines and reporting hazards
  • Collaborate with team members and leadership to meet departmental goals
  • Follow all company and warehouse policies
  • Perform additional duties and adapt to other roles as needed to support overall operations
