Job summary

Glidewell Dental is seeking an Inventory Clerk to maintain accurate stock levels, document movements, and ensure FIFO compliance in a fast-paced environment. You will coordinate with production, shipping, and management to optimize space, track shortages, and support timely order fulfillment.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, replenishment communications, and accurate documentation of shipments and receipts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory control: document, store, rotate, retrieve, and distribute materials and supplies.
• Monitor inventory levels; communicate replenishment needs and shortages to management.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and organization per procedures and FIFO standards.
• Coordinate coverage to ensure material availability for production.
• Process inventory documentation and related records per procedures.
• Perform cycle counts and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
• Create space utilization plans for incoming inventory.
• Manage inventory requests and approvals for special orders.
