Job description

Strive Pharmacy is a personalized compounding pharmacy built on a simple conviction: medicine should fit the patient, not the other way around. We started Strive because we believed the pharmaceutical industry was overdue for a more human approach—one that prioritizes individualized care, clinical nuance, and genuine partnership with patients and providers.

Compounding gives us the tools to do that. Every formulation we prepare is built to the specific needs of a specific person, and every interaction we have is guided by that same commitment to personalized care.

We're growing, and we're looking for people who share that conviction. If you're ready to be part of a pharmacy that takes the work seriously and the people even more seriously, we'd like to meet you.

Mission:

Strive exists to disrupt an industry long overdue for a more personal approach to care. We put the human element at the center of everything: every formulation, every patient interaction, every provider partnership. We're not just a compounding pharmacy. We're a team on a mission to change what personalized healthcare looks and feels like.

Location: On-site in Gilbert, Arizona
Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday through Friday; 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Compensation Range: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Position Overview:

The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for executing the daily operations that keep inventory accurate, organized, and available. Specialists perform the majority of hands‑on tasks such as restocking, receiving deliveries, and maintaining workflow standards. This role requires attention to detail, adaptability, and strong teamwork to support the Inventory Control Lead in ensuring accuracy and efficiency as Strive continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Daily Inventory Operations: Perform core inventory functions including restocking, receiving, labeling, and organizing pharmaceutical supplies across facilities.
  • Auditing & Cycle Counts: Assist with regular cycle counts, inventory audits, and physical stock reconciliations to guarantee accurate inventory counts.
  • Discrepancy Reporting: Support overall inventory accuracy by proactively identifying and reporting discrepancies, adhering strictly to corrective actions.
  • Standard Operating Procedures: Maintain full compliance with internal workflow policies, quality control standards, and company guidelines.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Assist pharmacists, leadership, and operational departments with inventory-related requests and ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Facility Maintenance: Uphold clean, organized, safe, and fully compliant work environments at all locations.
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, stockroom management, or related field.
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification, Trainee Certification, or willingness to obtain certification within 6 months of hire date.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and high accuracy in record‑keeping.
  • Proven dependability, accountability, and ability to consistently follow established workflow standards.
  • Effective communication skills with a track record of strong teamwork in a fast‑paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or custom compounding pharmacy inventory control.
  • Proficiency with computer systems, inventory software, handheld scanners, and tools like Microsoft Office or Google Docs.
  • Forklift certification is highly preferred.

This position is primarily based in an onsite work environment. The role requires regular standing and walking throughout facilities daily, frequent use of hands for handling, scanning, and documenting inventory, and frequent use of computers and handheld devices. The employee must have the ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds. Work is performed primarily indoors with occasional outdoor activity. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
