Job summary

Beehive Industries in Centennial, Colorado is seeking an Inventory Specialist to support manufacturing by managing parts flow, accuracy, and timeliness to meet production schedules and quality standards.

You will perform cycle counts, stock parts, move materials between work centers, and maintain organized storage while using MS Excel, Word, and ERP systems. A forklift certification may be required.

Qualifications

  • Ability to analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and discrepancies.

  • Willingness to learn inventory systems and supply chain processes.
  • Ability to walk the shop floor and lift up to 45 lbs.
  • Willingness to obtain forklift certification if not certified.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain inventory accuracy through daily transactions, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution.
  • Execute routine and randomized cycle counts, reconcile variances, and identify root causes with Operations and Supply Chain.
  • Move and stage materials to ensure parts flow between work centers.
  • Stock parts in designated shelf locations, maintaining AS9100 standards and traceability.
  • Organize kit components to support efficient assembly and verify completeness.
  • Monitor two-bin inventory levels throughout the production area.
  • Keep warehouse clean and organized with proper labeling and storage.
  • Operate material handling equipment safely; obtain forklift certification if needed.
  • Use MS Excel, Word, and inventory/ERP systems effectively.

Role Overview

Beehive is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to support our manufacturing operations by managing the flow of materials, components, and assemblies throughout our facility. This role is critical to ensuring production teams have the right parts, in the right quantities, at the right time to meet our manufacturing schedules and quality standards.

What You’ll Do
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through daily inventory transactions, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution
  • Execute routine and randomized cycle counts, reconcile variances, and partner with Operations and Supply Chain to identify root causes
  • Perform material movement and staging to ensure parts flow efficiently between work centers
  • Accurately stock parts in designated shelf locations within the warehouse, including sourced hardware, raw material, sub- assemblies and finished goods, ensuring parts meet AS9100 standards and maintain material traceability
  • Organize kit components to facilitate efficient assembly processes and verify kit completeness and accuracy before delivery to production floor
  • Monitor two-bin inventory levels throughout the production area
  • Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and storage system, including labeling, rack organization, and point-of-use material placement
  • Operate material handling equipment safely, including pallet jack and forklift (or obtain certification)
  • Utilize basic digital tools including MS Excel, Word, and inventory/ERP systems
You have
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ inventory control industry experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with data to identify trends, gaps, and discrepancies
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn inventory systems, planning tools, and supply chain processes
  • Comfortable walking the shop floor for extended periods and lifting up to 45 lbs
  • Willing and able to obtain forklift certification if not certified already
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S.Citizenship is required, as only U.S.Citizens are eligible for a security clearance
