Job summary

Vallen is seeking a Storeroom Crib Attendant to handle receiving, stocking, issuing, and cycle counting at customer locations. You will maintain accurate stock records, ensure a clean and organized crib, and support daily warehouse operations.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent plus some experience with warehouse tasks, data entry, and basic math. A team-focused, safety-minded attitude is essential for success in this position at Vallen.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3+ months relevant experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, work orders, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Basic computer knowledge and proficiency; familiarity with MS Office products, Vista, Control, SX.e, Prophet 21.
• Demonstration of basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and be self-motivated to accomplish tasks.
• Demonstration of attention to detail and safety-mindedness.

Responsibilities

• Unloads, receives and puts away incoming product; checks for damage and discrepancies between goods and invoices.
• Sorts, labels, moves and stores items; organizes storage to optimize crib space.
• Issues product to site employees and maintains records for issued items.
• Enters data into database to maintain stock records and respond to inquiries.
• Requests requisitions to replenish inventory and assists with cycle counts.
• Inspects tools/equipment for defects and reports to supervisors.
• Prepares periodic inventory and delivers tools to site locations.
• Performs other related duties as requested.
