Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers is seeking an ICQA Auditor to validate outbound order accuracy and support error resolution. Responsibilities include scanning orders, counting physically, and correcting discrepancies while ensuring pallets are correctly loaded and safe for transport.

The role emphasizes hands-on inventory control in a freezer and perishable environment, with training and benefits offered from day one. Second shift work is required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in warehouse/inventory systems preferred
• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent
• Able to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift 20–60 lbs
• Shift 2nd shift (evening) in US location
• Experience with warehouse equipment is a plus

Responsibilities

• Validate product against customer orders using a handheld scanner
• Compare scanned quantities to system billed quantities
• Unload product to the floor and perform a physical count
• Identify and root-cause mis-picks and shortages from the audit
• Reload validated product onto pallets and move to dock or trailer
• Perform quality checks on pallets and ensure proper stacking and wrapping

Position Overview

The Inventory Control and Quality Assurance (ICQA) Auditor will validate product to be delivered to customers as part of process to measure outbound selection accuracy.

Responsibilities include assisting with research and resolution of errors.

Earn $19.00 per hour while in training. Second shift, 10:00PM until completed.

Perishable (Refrigerated)– about 28°- 60°. Freezer (about -20F to 0F).

Location: 1802 Jim Johnson Road, Plant City, FL 33566.

Job Description

• Validate physical product matches the customer order using a handheld scanner.
• Product is scanned and compared to system billed quantity.
• Scan and unload product to the floor performing a physical count to the scanner count.
• All errors found are root caused by reviewing actual and surrounding pick slots.
• All mis-select errors and shortages are corrected as necessary based on the customer contract.
• After audit is validated product is reloaded onto pallet and returned to dock or trailer.
• Carry out quality checks related to pallet construction.
• Product wrapped, stacked and positioned well on pallet and in good condition.
• Unload pallets by operating electronic pallet jack or identify random pallet not yet loaded for audit.
• Travel Required: No.
