Job summary

US LBM is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to manage and optimize inventory at location(s). You will work with Purchasing to maintain optimal stock levels, project usage changes, and support quality control functions.

The role requires a High School Diploma and 1–3 years in an operational role. Pay range is $70,000–$80,000 annually, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements in a fast-growing, nationwide distributor.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of inventory control/procurement procedures.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving processes for all products at locations.
• Analyze vendor back orders and customer back orders related to inventory control.
• Reconcile accounts payable variances for location purchases.
• Perform cycle counts and notify management of variances.
• Maintain bills of material in Trend and manage vendor relationships.
• Identify and reduce slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
