Job summary

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is seeking a Material Handler II - Inventory Control for the 2nd shift in Sunnyvale, TX. The role maintains accurate inventory data in the WMS, validates locations and counts, and operates powered industrial trucks to move products within the warehouse.

You will support inventory discrepancy resolution, follow safety procedures, and contribute to a clean, organized work environment with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of distribution/warehouse experience; inventory control strongly preferred.
• Good oral and written communication skills, good record keeping and listening skills.
• Accurate measurement capability and ability to understand and speak basic English.
• Dal-Tile certification to operate powered industrial trucks is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory data in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Research and correct inventory discrepancies and errors.
• Verify location and count of products in the warehouse and update WMS accordingly.
• Operate powered industrial equipment to transport products as needed.
• Assist supervisor in reviewing Inventory Transfer Discrepancies (ITD).
• Monitor equipment/processes and report problems to the supervisor.
• Follow standard operating and safety procedures; keep area safe, clean and organized.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
