Job summary

DSV Lancaster, USA, seeks an Inventory Manager to maintain perpetual record integrity and maximize space utilization in the facility, ensuring accurate inventory levels and efficient order fulfillment.

The role supervises inventory staff, analyzes cycle counts, and implements space and product locator plans while maintaining safety, accuracy, and strong client relationships. Training and development are expected as part of daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 4 years’ experience in Distribution/Logistics.
• 2 years’ supervisory experience in logistics/distribution.
• Able to operate MHE.
• Must be able to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Input data accurately into WMS.
• Efficiently stack and store product in appropriate area.
• Develops and implements space utilization plan to meet prescribed cost and service standards.
• Develops and monitors the space layout plan to ensure it continues to meet company standards.
• Oversee inventory staff and subordinates.
• Analyze daily cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical count and perpetual record.
