Airgas USA, LLC is seeking an Inventory Control Manager in Salem, NH to enhance regional inventory processes, supervise cycle counts, and drive accurate reporting. The role requires strong analytical skills, SAP knowledge, and collaboration with plants and branches to meet financial goals.

Responsibilities include coordinating cycle counts, approving adjustments, supporting inventory programs, and delivering branch reporting. A safety-focused, detail-oriented leader will thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• Degree in business, science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ideally 3 years of inventory management experience.
• Preferred: inventory analysis experience; SAP working knowledge; bulk/gas industry analytics or analytical finance.
• Google Office & MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word).
• Analytical & problem-solving skills.
• Process design and high attention to detail.
• Organizational & time management with competing priorities.
• Verbal & written communication, listening, and teamwork.
• Diplomacy and thoughtful communication when navigating challenges and building alignment.
• Physical ability: extended sitting, occasional walking, driving/computer/phone use, and production environments.

Responsibilities

• Partner with, support, and guide hardgoods cycle counts at the plants and branches.
• Review and approve inventory adjustments as a result of variances to physical counts in accordance with variance thresholds.
• Work with branches to assist with bolt-on programs, inventory promotions, new product, or vendor/Radnor inventory programs.
• Support Accounts Payable and Corporate Purchasing by investigating and resolving invoice challenges.
• Provide branch-based reporting to measure inventory turns, inactive inventory, adjustments, and other metrics.
• Partner with branches to reduce Hardgoods Day Supply and obsolete inventory stock.
• Train and onboard new Associates on hardgoods inventory processes.
• Assist with acquisition-related activities including opening balance reserves.
