Job summary

Bulk Environmental & Industrial is seeking an Inventory Control Manager to oversee inventory tracking systems, improve control procedures, analyze stock levels and optimize schedules. This role focuses on strengthening supplier and client relationships, and implementing cost-saving strategies to ensure budget adherence.

Responsibilities include managing a team, monitoring stock levels, and reporting to upper management while supporting warehouse operations and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years of experience managing inventory.
  • Experience working with inventory management software and forecasting strategies.
  • Experience conducting tracking and data analysis.
  • Product and inventory management certification is a plus.
  • Experience with vendors.

  • Communicates with inventory employees to meet business goals and address personnel issues.
  • Develops business relationships with suppliers and clients.
  • Proposes strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures of supply chain logistics.
  • Monitors demand and analyzes data to anticipate future supply and logistical needs.
  • Reports on inventory levels, supply chain progress, procedural efficiency and personnel issues to upper management.
  • Ensures adherence to approved budget.
  • Performs and assists with general maintenance and cleanup of the warehouse.
  • Performs additional related duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY

The Inventory Control Manager will manage inventory tracking systems, evaluate and improve inventory control procedures, analyze supply levels, and optimize employee schedules. The role also involves developing relationships with suppliers and clients, proposing cost-reduction strategies, and ensuring adherence to budget.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum of five years of experience managing inventory. Trucking/Logistics experience is a plus
  • Experience working with inventory management software and forecasting strategies.
  • Experience conducting tracking and data analysis.
  • Product and inventory management certification is a plus.

Physical Demands

This position is considered to be mostly sedentary and will require the employee to sit for extended periods of time. It will also require the employee to occasionally stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. They may engage in bending, stretching, reaching, and other motions in the course of a working day. They will be engaged in using office equipment and computers. They may engage in lifting supplies and materials up to 20 pounds from time to time. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to see, talk, and hear.

Working Conditions

This job is located primarily in an indoor office environment with varying noise levels. There may be varying degrees of temperature. The employee may be interrupted from time to time.
