Job summary

Chick-fil-A Supply in Salt Lake City, UT seeks an Inventory Control team member to resolve variances for incoming and existing products in daily DC operations. You will maintain inventory accuracy, perform audits, and coordinate with the team to prevent discrepancies.

Responsibilities include handling damaged/expired items, slotting and policy development, and contributing to root-cause analyses with proactive problem solving. Weekend/holiday rotation required.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent.
• 2 years of warehouse experience.
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking) to safely follow verbal instructions and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure inventory accuracy through control techniques including internal audits, cycle and audit counts.
• Identify, quarantine, and report damaged or supplier recalled/withdrawn product to assure it is accurately captured and removed from inventory.
• Ensure pick availability by responding to and solving location errors, product attributes, or location attributes.
• Handle, remove, dispose, and process damaged or expired product.
• Maintain warehouse slot integrity and slotting of new or seasonal items.
• Assist in developing localized policies and procedures related to inventory control.
• Work with team to reinforce the importance of inventory accuracy.
• Assist with root cause analysis and solutions related to inventory inaccuracies.

Required Business Qualifications: Proven record of working independently with little oversight Exceptional attention to detail Highly organized Familiarity and comfort with navigating and executing in the WMS system High degree of initiative and urgency Self-Starter and comfortable with ambiguity Proactive problem solver Solutions oriented Basic computer proficiency, with ability to operate handheld devices Work consistently in extreme temperature conditions Complete physically demanding work, including frequently lifting up to 50 pounds and occasionally moving with mechanical assistance up to 2,000 pounds Reach, bend, and stoop while performing work Work while standing for several hours at a time Prepare for a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays and rotating shifts

Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)

• High School degree or equivalent
• 2 years of warehouse experience
• Certifications: NA
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking): to safely follow verbal instructions, complete documentation and paperwork, and accurately interpret labels, pick lists, scanner prompts, signage, and company communications.

Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)

• 3+ years of warehouse experience
• Experience in inventory control or similar job function is a plus
• Material handling equipment proficiency
