Job summary

Wheatland Tube, a division of Zekelman Industries, seeks a Warehouse Inventory Coordinator to oversee inventory, SAP operations, and daily warehouse activities on site in California. You will manage schedules, load planning, and documentation, while ensuring safety and process accuracy across the warehouse.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; technical degree preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP, and MES.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Promote health and safety practices in line with regulations and policy.
• Maintain weekly warehouse member schedules to ensure coverage.
• Identify and build loads for materials stored outside directly off the mills.
• Maintain daily warehouse documentation including inspections and logs.
• Troubleshoot SAP shipping issues to support timely shipments.
• Manage weekly warehouse dunnage requirements and requisitions.
• Collaborate with load-build teams to ensure proper trailer fit and safe handling.
• Perform other assigned duties and maintain on-site attendance.
