Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the inventory control team, ensuring accurate and efficient inventory management.
• Oversee the implementation and adherence to inventory control policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular cycle counts, physical inventories, and audits to verify stock accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing preventative measures.
• Optimize inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing holding costs and stockouts.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and rotation of inventory (FIFO/LIFO) to minimize obsolescence and damage.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movement, generate reports, and analyze data.
• Collaborate with operations, purchasing, and sales teams to align inventory management with business objectives.
• Train and mentor inventory control staff on best practices and system usage.
