Job summary

Air Systems Components (ASC), a business segment of Air Distribution Technologies, Inc., seeks an Inventory Control Supervisor at our Tarboro, NC facility to lead cycle counts and ensure inventory accuracy across ERP systems. You will guide a team, drive continuous improvement, and partner with production, planning, and purchasing to optimize material flow and cost control.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Logistics, or related field.
3+ years inventory control, materials management, or warehouse experience in manufacturing.
Prior leadership or supervisory experience.
Experience using ERP/MRP systems for inventory management.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily inventory control operations including cycle counts and audits.
Lead and develop inventory control staff fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
Ensure inventory records reflect physical inventory via disciplined ERP transaction management.
Develop and maintain cycle count programs to meet accuracy goals.
Investigate variances, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Coordinate with Warehouse, Receiving, Shipping, Materials, and Production teams on material movement.
Monitor inventory metrics such as accuracy, adjustments, and shortages.
Support production by ensuring timely availability of raw materials and finished goods.
