Job summary

Carris Reels of Connecticut Inc in Enfield, CT is seeking a material handler for the 2nd shift to help move materials around the plant using a sit-down forklift and keep lines stocked for production.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years forklift experience in manufacturing, strong attendance, attention to detail, good fractions-based math, and the initiative to work overtime on Friday 3:30 pm–2:00 am; regular hours Monday-Thursday 3:30 pm–2:00 am with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a sit-down forklift in a manufacturing setting.
• Excellent attendance history and reliability.
• Strong attention to detail and measurement skills, including fractions.
• Good math ability and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Move material throughout the plant using a sit-down forklift.
• Keep production lines supplied with wood/parts to run orders.
• Move empty pallets and trash containers as needed.
• Support overtime hours when required on Fridays.

Our Enfield, CT location is looking for a material handler to join the team on 2nd shift.You will assist in moving material throughout the plant using a sit down forklift.
