Inventory Control I, 3rd Shift
Perform the inventory control I functions as outlined below to cover the internal customer request and requirements. This position will include inventory and shipment of product goods.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Operate forklift, pallet jacks, and other associated warehouse equipment.
- Convey materials and items from production, warehouse, staging, or shipping areas as directed.
- Mark materials with identifying information and labels for all products.
- Use handheld bar code scanner.
- Open cartons, bales, crates, and other containers and ensure shipments are undamaged; note any discrepancies.
- Perform area housekeeping duties including trash dumping, sweeping, and organizing work areas.
- Abide by all safety rules and regulations.
- Memorize all 25 Systems Applications & Products (SAP) T-code transactions related to inventory control Level I.
- Work alternate shifts as assigned to meet business needs.
- Complete all mezzanine tasks and perform other related duties as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 year of demonstrated experience working in a warehouse required.
- Ability to read and understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and various other documents and instructions.
- Ability to follow supervisory instructions.
- Good problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to operate equipment assigned in the warehouse.
- Effective communication skills with fluency in English required.
- To be eligible for promotion to Inventory Control II, must obtain full certification of level I for the inventory control functions.
