Job summary

humano LLC is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to maintain, track, and report physical inventory in our warehouse. You will liaise between internal and external customers to ensure accuracy of inventory and fiscal accounting.

Pay is $21.50/hour with full-time scheduling (4 days/week, 10-hour shifts). Shifts run 7:00 PM – 5:30 AM or until work is completed, in a refrigerated warehouse environment. The role requires attention to detail and flexibility with nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; additional education or relevant experience is preferred.
• Prior warehouse experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) data to ensure efficient and proper inventory control.
• Identify and address quality control issues to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in all inventory functions and programs.
• Check and exchange pallets as needed, reporting any damage or discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and repair of the dock and facility areas.
• Wrap and stack pallets for safe storage and transport.
• Safely operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) after training.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, housekeeping, and other relevant standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned to maintain inventory accuracy and efficiency.

• Basic math skills necessary for proper counting and verification of pallet ID numbers.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all inventory-related tasks.
• Flexibility to work variable schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Environmental Job Conditions

• Ability to independently lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 100 lbs occasionally.
• Regularly engage in sitting, standing, walking, bending, and squatting in a refrigerated warehouse setting.
• Perform tasks such as grasping, reaching, pushing, or pulling on a frequent basis.
• Endurance for continuous and fast-paced work activities.
• Adherence to necessary safety protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as steel-toed footwear, gloves, safety glasses, etc.
