Job summary

A commodities trading company is seeking an Inventory Manager to oversee operations in Guinea. Responsibilities include managing spare parts inventory, conducting stocktakes, and preparing reports. Ideal candidates should have a diploma in Supply Chain, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and strong Excel skills. Occasional business travel to Guinea is required. Job description

Industry: Commodities Trading (Iron Ore, Copper)
Location: Singapore (with occasional travel to Guinea)

Responsibilities:

• Manage inventory of spare parts and equipment for Guinea operations
• Coordinate bi-annual stocktakes with Guinea-based team
• Track and record all inventory movements in Autocount system
• Handle purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and goods received notes
• Work with procurement on spare parts purchases and shipping documentation
• Monitor goods-in-transit and maintain accurate inventory records
• Prepare monthly inventory reports for accounting and operations
• Analyze inventory trends and suggest process improvements
• Coordinate with Guinea team to verify deliveries and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain proper documentation and support ad-hoc duties

Requirements:

• Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in inventory or supply chain roles
• Experience with Autocount system preferrer, strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and handle cross-border coordination.
• Willing to business travel occasionally to Guinea.
