Job summary

TA Truck Service is seeking an Inventory Control Team Member in Robertsdale, AL to support cycle counts, receipts processing, and parts room maintenance.

You will work with the Shop Profit Center and POS systems, review work orders for accuracy, and help ensure inventory integrity across locations. Strong teamwork and reliable communication are essential to keep parts flowing and customers on the road.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience with inventory control.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays.
• A valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Reviews Work Orders from previous shift(s) for accuracy and completeness
• Process Purchase Orders and Requests for Documentation (DRs), Reconcile invoices for payment, research negative on hand inventory discrepancies, research charge backs and process inventory adjustments
• Assist in taking inventory, inventory cycle counting, ordering, receiving, marking (PLU Number) and storing merchandise; Process inventory transfers including warranty work

Our Truck Service team is comprised of nearly 3,000 highly skilled technicians and spans coast to coast. The Inventory Control Team Member assists with inventory management responsibilities including cycle counts, check in orders, processing inventory receipts and maintaining the parts room. In This Role, You Can Expect To

• Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on providing great service where the expectations of the customer are exceeded
• Understand the day-day operation of all computer systems in the Shop Profit Center and operate POS systems properly and efficiently
• Reviews Work Orders from previous shift(s) for accuracy and completeness
• Process Purchase Orders and Requests for Documentation (DRs), Reconcile invoices for payment, research negative on hand inventory discrepancies, research charge backs and process inventory adjustments
