Job summary

LV Petroleum LLC in Pearsall, TX is seeking an Inventory Control Team Member to support daily inventory management, cycle counts, and processing receipts in our parts room. You will work in a busy shop environment and help ensure accurate stock levels to keep our operations running smoothly.

The role requires at least 1 year of inventory experience, a valid driver's license, and good communication. Flexible hours including nights and weekends may be required; weekly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year inventory control experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to operate POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inventory management including cycle counts and check-in orders.
• Process inventory receipts and maintain the parts room.
• Reconcile invoices and process inventory adjustments.
• Support in inventory transfers and warranty work.
• Ensure accurate documentation for purchase orders and DRs.

Our Truck Service team is comprised of nearly 3,000 highly skilled technicians and spans coast to coast. With over 280 locations across the country, LV Petroleum has a solid foundation and a forward-thinking vision. The Inventory Control Team Member assists with inventory management responsibilities including cycle counts, check in orders, processing inventory receipts and maintaining the parts room. Our Inventory Control Team Member helps ensure we are returning every traveler to the road better than they came!

In this role, you can expect to:

• Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on providing great service where the expectations of the customer are exceeded
• Understand the day-to-day operation of all computer systems in the Shop Profit Center and operate POS systems properly and efficiently
• Reviews Work Orders from previous shift(s) for accuracy and completeness
• Process Purchase Orders and Requests for Documentation (DRs), Reconcile invoices for payment, research negative on hand inventory discrepancies, research charge backs and process inventory adjustments
• Assist in taking inventory, inventory cycle counting, ordering, receiving, marking (PLU Number) and storing merchandise; Process inventory transfers including warranty work

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience with inventory control
