Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Whitsett, NC is seeking a Material Handler I - Inventory Clerk/Cycle Counter for the 2nd shift to ensure accurate inventory records and smooth warehouse operations.

You will conduct cycle counts, print and transfer Count Sheets, record results, and research discrepancies using transaction history and staging area audits.

A high school diploma or GED and at least one year of inventory/order-processing experience are required; SAP knowledge and basic Excel skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year experience in overall order processing & inventory management.
• Knowledge of SAP system related to Inventory Control functions.
• Moderate Excel skills and data entry accuracy.
• Ability to read, comprehend and write basic correspondence; problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Run inventory reports from the WMS program and transfer data to Count Sheet template and shared network.
• Print Count Sheets in location sequence; conduct physical inventory counts and enter quantity onto Count Sheet; record results into system.
• Research inventory discrepancies by cycle counting discrepant items; run transaction history to identify last locations where product was stored.
• Conduct searches of Staging areas; perform Empty location audits; report results to supervisor.
• Assist in other areas such as operations, shipping and receiving as needed.
