Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator to support our Phoenix distribution operations. Start times are early morning, with Monday–Friday shifts and overtime as needed.

You will monitor inventory accuracy and maintain records of material value, performing counts and reporting discrepancies. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 6–12 months warehousing experience, and the ability to lift up to 90 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6–12 months warehousing, inventory, accounting admin support or related area.
• Ability to communicate information accurately and apply strong math skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and intermediate general computer skills.
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift; lift 10–35 pounds and up to 60–90 pounds depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Counts material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts total inventory records.
• Compares inventories to office records or computed figures from records.
• Verifies clerical computations against physical counts and investigates discrepancies.
• Compiles receipts or disbursements of materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies.
• Monitors inventory rotations and makes recommendations as needed.
• Prepares reports such as inventory balances and weekly cycle counts.
• Reviews daily reports and maintains shrink at or below standard.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
