Job summary

OneSource Distributors, part of the Sonepar family, is seeking an experienced inventory control specialist based in Fullerton, CA. The role focuses on cycle counting, material location accuracy, and reporting discrepancies to ensure inventory integrity.

Included are routine use of RF scanners and Eclipse ERP, PPE compliance, and collaboration on process improvements. The position is full-time with a 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM schedule and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years in electrical distribution or electrical wholesale.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience using RF scanners and Eclipse ERP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cycle count raw materials, packaged materials, finished goods, and non-conforming inventory daily
• Operate RF scanners and hand-held devices
• Use Eclipse to confirm quantities of materials
• Ensure materials are in proper locations and locate misclassified inventory
• Report discrepancies of over/under amounts or damaged products to supervision
• Publish weekly and quarterly inventory metrics
• Develop process improvements to eliminate inventory discrepancies
• Ensure proper and full-time use of PPE
• Uphold quality and safety procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Communicate and collaborate on inventory processes as needed

What you will do:

• Cycle count raw materials, packaged materials, finished goods, and non-conforming materials on a daily basis
• Utilize manual lifts, reach trucks and transfer equipment (requires applicable safety and operational training)
• Operate RF scanners and other hand-held devices
• Use Eclipse to confirm quantities of materials
• Ensure materials are in proper locations. Conducts search to locate misclassified inventory
• Report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products to supervision
• Publish weekly and quarterly inventory metrics
• Communicate and develop process enhancements as needed (performs root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and recommends process improvements to eliminate them)
• Ensure proper and full-time use of PPE
• Uphold all quality and safety procedures
• Other duties as assigned

What you will bring:

• High school or equivalent diploma
• Minimum of five (5) years of electrical distribution or electrical wholesale experience
• Knowledge of inventory system (Eclipse ERP experience preferred)
• Experience using an RF scanner
• Clear and concise communication skills
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams and Outlook

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• Occasional lifting and pulling objects weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodation
• Warehouse environment
• Ability to work in extremely hot, cold, or dusty environments

This role is based in Fullerton, CA

Work hours:

6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Salary Range

This is a non-exempt position and pays between $20.19 -$23.57 per hour. This salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, within California. The actual range of the role may differ based on the location of the role.
